Srinagar, November 20 (KNO) : Jama’at-e-Islami Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday said that the killing of one more Tehreek-e-Hurriyat leader, Hafiz-ullah Mir of Akingam, Islamabad by unknown gunmen in the broad-daylight in his home clearly depicts that this series of mysterious killings is a part of a well-designed plan hatched in order to suppress the genuine voice of the oppressed people of Jammu and Kashmir. Jama’at-e-Islami. In a statement issued to KNO while vehemently condemning this gruesome murder of a political leader at his home and critically injuring his wife, demands an impartial probe into all these inhuman acts by some international judicial commission so as to unveil the real culprits behind this vicious deign. Jama’at extended its total solidarity with the bereaved family and wishes an early recovery of the slain leader’s wife. It further condemned the indiscriminate firing by government forces on a mob at Nadigam Shopian in which amongst others two sisters were also injured.(KNO)
